How do tryouts work?

Our professional coaches create a training session and observe the players' overall qualities and performances.  Players are invited to tryout over two different sessions during Tryout Week.  Over the two sessions, they will be asked to show their skill, their ideas for the game, their mobility, and their coachability.  From there, coaches evaluate players according to the roster needs they have in each team.

What should my child bring?

Players should bring cleats, shinguards, water, and comfortable clothes to work out in.

Which age group tryout should I attend?

Please come to the tryout assigned to your child's birthyear.

When will I know if I am selected for a roster spot?

If you are selected, you will hear from us within the week after tryouts.

Can my child get on a team at other times of the year?

Possibly, but only if there is an opening on that roster at that time.  Most of the time, complete rosters are selected right after tryouts and teams are built to move forward without late additions.

How can I contact the coach(es) for my age group?

The contact information for all our coaches is on our website:

Can my child "play up?"

Possibly.  But only if our coaches deem it the right thing to do for the player's soccer development.

Do you offer other programs through the club?

Yes.  We offer a February thru December "Development Program" for 5 and 6 year olds (2009 and 2010 birth years this year).  We also offer Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps, and a Winter Development Program.
